Coat of Arms

I replaced the previous coat of arms with the newer image due to the fact that the yellow doesn't look gray. I hope nobody has a problem with it. --ImmortalGoddezz 15:31, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

This is actually a national college sorority and should be kept and expanded.

Mystic or Moronic ??

What is it with American's and Greek letters ?

In England I get people asking for jobs and throwing these letters at me - they don't mean anything outside of the US, and seem a bit creepy to us

Weird

letters after names?

Notable alumnae / For a full list of notable Delta Delta Delta alumnae please visit here. [1] / Donna Axum (Delta Iota)

What's the (Delta Iota) for? Is that some kind of subdivision? Maybe it's in the text somewhere but maybe one can repeat it at the top of the list.

The letters in brackets after their name are the chapter they were in. --ImmortalGoddezz 01:42, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Tri Delta was founded in the same year that Geauga Lake Amusement Park, in Aurora, Ohio, was founded.

What is the significance of this piece of trivia? Lots of things happened in 1888. 152.83.174.93 02:09, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Trident as reference source

There was discussion about the Trident not being a reliable source. While it is published by Tri Delta, The Trident is produced by the national office. It is a national magazine and is available to alumnae, online or by subscription to non-members. This is very different from a chapter publication or web page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DeltaLove (talkcontribs) 14:23, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

references

Where did the information in the article come from? I'm assuming either the official website or an official handbook of some kind. Above the part containing the symbols and insignia, it's almost completely unsourced. Would anyone have any interest in doing some work on the resources? :-) Bali88 (talk) 05:41, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

Tri Delta firsts

I'm deleting this section from the article, but here's some bullet points that may be both source-able and relevant to the history section.

"Tri Delta was the first sorority to:

  • write all ritual without the help of men.
  • publish a book-length history: A Detailed Record of Delta Delta Delta, 1888–1907.
  • hold a national Leadership Conference."

Otherwise, sorority "firsts" are often conflicting and non-encyclopedic, or they may require original research that involves checking the histories of all sororities founded before them. I'm also going to delete information I can't find sources for, or information that's more myth than fact. originalmesshow u doin that busta rhyme? 08:44, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
