Both in Simplified Chinese.
His "Genghis" quote as the commander is translated from Chinese: “我誓願繼承成吉司汗的偉大精神,收復蒙古固有疆土,完成民族復興大業”.
This article indeed needs a lot of work. Due to political situation, there are few sources taking perspective of the Mongols on him. Among them, Jagchid Sechin's 我所知道的徳王和當時的内蒙古 is an excellent but incomplete work. The last Mongol prince : the life and times of Demchugdongrob, 1902-1966 by Jagchid Sechin would be a nice English source although I have not read it yet. --Nanshu 02:56 28 Jun 2003 (UTC)
Names
editI have made some technical changes in the names section: I always assumed that Demchugdongrub was some transcription from Mongolian, not (directly) from Tibetan. For brevity, I also deleted transcriptions of transcriptions -they look basically similar to what is already there. Teh wang is probably the most common name in English, so it of course remained. The translation of the first character of the Chinese transcription of his name, 德, in this context seemed entirely irrelevant, about as useful translating the "Mao" in "Chairman Mao". De Noyon looks more like a generic form of adress (Mr. De, not really sure here, though, but it was unsourced anyway). I also deleted another form of adress (德王爺) that was not sourced. Weasel words
editIn regard to the "weasel words" template, please state the type of problem that you see in this article with at least one specific example. --Bejnar (talk) 19:40, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Name is incorrect
editA better translation from mongolian is "Demchigdonrov" not Demchugdongrub, it should be changed to this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.227.33.141 (talk) 15:22, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
