This page needs tons of help.{MgTurtle (talk) 01:13, 25 July 2008 (UTC)}Reply

-I agree, we definatly don't need a play-by-play of the fight at UFC 83 or 87. The whol e UFC section should be re-done [The Almty1] [Last edit 8.9.08 am]

Black belt degree

edit

At the release of his DVD in 2007, he was a 2nd degree black belt (counting the stripes) [1] . Let's just assume he became a 3rd degree the same year. 5 years are required for the fourth degree [2] and 5 years from 2007 would be 2012.--Razionale (talk) 20:43, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Anonymous IPs provided a source on him that states 4th degree in fact [3] but the text could have been written by anybody.--Razionale (talk) 20:45, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'll still drop my resistance. It would be great if someone could show a new video on him with belt stripes that supports or refutes the idea of him as a 4th degree.--Razionale (talk) 20:48, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

It looks like this is the end of the 4th degree claims:[4]. Finally this is over.--Razionale (talk) 22:57, 11 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Split decision

edit

Many still believe that the fight against Weidman resulted in a split decision but it was an error by the announcer Buffer. http://www.fightline.com/fl/news/2012/0129/547225/chael-sonnen/ The real decision was unanimous.--Razionale (talk) 10:49, 14 February 2012 (UTC) I referenced the tweet of Dana White as proof in an attempt to stop people changing it to "split decision" all the time.--Razionale (talk) 21:29, 15 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

request to change demian maia lost to weidman from "decision (unanimous)" to "decision (split)" Bissosurf (talk) 22:57, 14 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Not done. Sherdog states otherwise. --LlamaAl (talk) 23:59, 14 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

In Damian's fight against Chris Weidman, it ended via split decision and not unanimous. 46.162.93.114 (talk) 22:56, 15 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Not done. WP:MMA uses Sherdog. The event page for UFC on Fox: Evans vs. Davis says it was a unanimous decision. If you have other reliable source, please provide it. --LlamaAl (talk) 00:25, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
