I propose to split the article. Yes, the party founded in 1989 considered itself the reincarnation of the 1940s one, but factually, they are two distinct entities. The political circumstances were very different. Too much happened inbetween, during the four decades years when the Democratic Party was "inactive", that is, non-existent. Moreover it is somewhat confusing to readers if the infobox reads "Dissolved: 1948, 2006". --RJFF (talk) 15:31, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
