Source documents

edit

An encyclopedia should not be written as if it is a party website, campaign brochure or policy platform. Reproducing sections of the party platform, even if correctly attributed and cited, is not appropriate. This information is available on the party's website and does not need to be repeated here. See WP:NOTREPOSITORY, which says, "Wikipedia articles are not:... Mere collections of public domain or other source material such as entire books or source code, original historical documents, letters, laws, proclamations, and other source material that are only useful when presented with their original, unmodified wording. Complete copies of primary sources may go into Wikisource, but not on Wikipedia. See also Wikipedia:Do not include the full text of lengthy primary sources...." The logo listed here was out of date so I removed it. I'm not sure if this is common practice or not. Please revert me if it was a mistake. JamelJones (talk) 06:27, 19 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
