In the meanwhile, the footnoted sources might be consulted, starting with the links. No one "owns" this article of course. And anyone who studies good sources may be in a good position to improve this article. Best wishes. --Thomasmeeks (talk) 23:13, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Original research template?
editAn "Original research" ("OR") template was added to Demographic economics (DE) recently. The template in part reads:
- This article may contain previously unpublished synthesis of published material that conveys ideas not attributable to the original sources.
The first link in the quotation is clear enough as to what constitutes OR. But the subjects listed included in DE are supported by the footnotes, which in turn support the 2nd link -- WP:VERIFY. So between them, the current article seems to preclude OR. Of course, doing research to write or edit the article, complete with sources and links (for example by use of Google scholar to find articles appropriate for the subject of DE) is not OR. Using WP:CITEBUNDLEING for Wikipedia:Citing sources is appropriate for conveniently providing sources. The recent add of the Demographic economics#Subareas section with the JEL classification codes#Labor and demographic economics JEL: J Subcategories is also consistent with the subjects in the lead. Thanks. --Thomasmeeks (talk) 16:03, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
