Clean up
editI took it upon myself to do some cleaning up of the article. Most of it was rewriting and repositioning things but otherwise the information is the same. My main goal was to make it read better since it came off a little clunky. I figured no one would mind so I went an acted on my own--'Be Bold' and all. Hopefully some of you will add more information since there's much more to Denis Lawson than being 'that guy from Star Wars.'
I would like to read more about Mr. Lawson's role in Local Hero. Jrgilb (talk) 20:01, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
Picture
editIt's a good picture of a Star Wars character, but as you can't see Lawson's face very well, it fails. Is there a better picture available? DavidFarmbrough 12:29, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
The picture is not Denis Lawson. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.234.183.225 (talk) 19:27, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
Place of Birth
editDenis Lawson appeared on A Taste of My Life this evening and I specifically remember him stating that he was born in Glasgow and only moved to Crieff when he was 3. Thought you might like to know that as some research is probably needed to verify which is right (tho I like to think the guy himself wouldn't lie!!) Kateab (talk) 21:40, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Trivia
editLittle factoid, which I'm guessing is not really all that relevent to the article: He appeared in the Armchair Thriller story "The Girl Who Walked Quickly" which is partly filmed in Russell Square tube station. During the sequence he stops in front on an advertising poster for Star Wars with the bottom line : "Opens in cinemas 2 January". I found it interesting as it gave the filming date of that episode as late December 1977 or more likely early January 1978. I hadn't realised that Lawson actually starred in Star Wars, so this was obviously a little in-joke by the production team.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 02:01, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
Order of filmography
editI'm accustomed to seeing these charts go from oldest to newest, not the other way around. Do we want to flip them? It's a bit of a lift, since I suppose someone would have to go in and do it line by line, right?--Aresef (talk) 01:32, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
