Same Derek Gardner?

edit

Derek Gardner - Can anyone confirm that this is the same Derek Gardner of DEGA Applied Technology? In 1985 he designed a replica Thomas Morse Scout bi-plane as a light aircraft that also fell into the microlight specification for British Civil Airworthiness Requirements Section S-CAP 482. I think he attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2007. Anyone know his whereabouts? Stewart Jackson jjackson9@toucansurf.com. 88.108.37.33 12:39, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Probably. oldracingcars.com says that this Derek Gardner "designed ... microlites during his long career as a designer.". DH85868993 (talk) 03:27, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Place of birth

edit

Place of birth changed 23 Nov 2021 from Warwick to Leamington as this page's source, oldracingcars.com (ORC), has made that correction. (Gardner had said it was Leamington in an interview, and one of ORC's researchers ordered his birth certificate to confirm.) Allen Brown (talk) 09:31, 23 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
