Date of death Derek Taylor

edit

There seems to be confusion regarding Taylor's date of death. The obituary in The Independent states September 8. However the obituary in The New York Times (publication date Sept. 9) states: "[...]died on Sunday at his home near Sudbury, in Suffolk, England.". That would make his death date September 7. Which one is it? Mill 1 (talk) 12:34, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'll check out some other sources in the ext day or two. Keith Badman's The Beatles Diary Vol. 2 should have it right, and I've got an Omnibus Press book called The Encyclopedia of Rock Obituaries also. Thanks, JG66 (talk) 13:49, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Great! Thx. Mill 1 (talk) 15:04, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Both the books give 7 September 1997, so that's the date I've gone with. JG66 (talk) 08:22, 21 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the late reply. Thx for checking. I changed it on my end. Cheers Mill 1 (talk) 19:07, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
