Move page
editAs all pages that link here are not about crime, this article should really be at, well, Derrick (television series) or Derrick (TV series) or Derrick (television)—or Derrick (TV)? Is there any standard? |l'KF'l| 13:37, Aug 18, 2004 (UTC)
- I fully agree. Derrick means a kind of drilling device not a TV series. This article should be at Derrick (TV series) or similar. — Donama 00:16, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Merge
editI ran across the Klavierkonzert article, which I believe should be merged, rather than having its own article. The only time that TV series should have a separate page for each episode, is when there is a large amount of information about each episode. Just copying the show description out of a tv guide can be seen as a copyright violation. --Elonka 05:03, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Derrick's motorcycle
editIn the episode "Risiko" (episode 12, season 3, time 47 mins.) Derrick mentions that he had an Imperia 350 motorcycle in 1951 which he bought used for 400 Mark. He was very fond of it, but his real hope was to get a car, "not having to stand under the bridges when it rained," which he wasn't able to afford until several years later. I cannot find the right spot in the article for this information, but perhaps if more incidental facts about the biographical history of Derrick (and Klein) can be collated here, we might be able to present this as the article develops? __meco (talk) 13:05, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Waffen-SS
edit"that Herr Tappert lied about his service with the Waffen-SS in World War II following the discovery of new archive material showing an association". Now that is simply untrue, since Tappert did not lie about his service in the Waffen-SS. He just didn't make a big fuzz about it as he remained discrete on most private matters. Also, using "Herr" in an English text sounds kind of idiotic. --41.151.153.222 (talk) 11:34, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Musicalisches OP fer.
editThe title music of the Derrick TV show is rather famous. However the article does not include any info about it. Some sources claim it was written by the Les Humphries Singers's lead. Furthermore, some say the score's main theme was borrowed from Shostakovich's Jazz Suite. Please expand on this topic in the article! 91.82.38.61 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:13, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- German language wikipedia says: Les Humphries Singers Diskographie ... Titelmelodie der Krimiserie Derrick, die Anklänge an den 2. Walzer aus Dmitri Schostakowitschs Suite für Varieté-Orchester ... 87.97.101.21 (talk) 20:59, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
