Talk:Des Moines Roller Derby

League background

While we show that Team United is made up of members of both the Mid Iowa Rollers and Des Moines Derby Dames, I'm at a loss to determine whether or not either of those leagues still exists as such; that is, did they fold into Team United (hence the name) or did they just jump ship. The Dames website is gone, and Mid Iowa's says "we'll be back". Both leagues are still listed as members on the WFTDA website, but neither is currently ranked. Where I am going with this - aside from updating those articles as being for current or defunct organizations - is whether or not either should ultimately get merged into this one. That can wait for now - the Dames article can probably stand on its own even for a defunct org, and even Mid Iowa's might also. Having a hard time finding more thorough sources to explain the connections. Thoughts? Echoedmyron (talk) 17:18, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
