Scholarship program facts and sources?
edit1. The Scholarships section states "The club has funded scholarships for central Iowa students since 1910 [emphasis added]. The first scholarships were for students in the Des Moines Art Academy. Throughout the years many new scholarships have been funded through member bequests and the club funds four scholarships in Art, Music, Drama and Literature through dues and donations. In 2020 the club will provide 17 scholarships for high school, college and graduate students for a total of $38,000."
2. The Notable Achievements of the Des Moines Women’s Club section states: "Provided scholarships for central Iowa students since 1920.
3. Both of those are sourced to a TV program where the 2 representatives of the club state that scholarships have been offered since 1904, and that there will be 23 given in 2021, and NOT the specifics given about 2020. [The source: "Des Moines Women's Club Offers Scholarships". We Are Iowa. Iowa Live. Retrieved 4 December 2020. ]
So it seems to me there are contradictions to be resolved, and perhaps some past sources need to be added back. Are there reliable sources about the scope of the scholarship program, say something in writing even if a few years ago, besides what was said in one TV program in early 2021? --Doncram (talk) 23:35, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing this out. I am checking for sources.
