DevSleep and 3.3v systems (the info to that website on the wiki about devslp is an assumption not fact)
editDevSleep and 3.3v systems not working is not proven (the link it leads to does provide any evidence that it 3.3v rail enabled makes it fail) DevSleep uses a signal on the unused 3.3v pins (Power present on the 3.3v rail will not enable DevSleep permanently only once or not at all as the drive will ignore a constant power on 3.3v rail),
i currently own 2 SSDs that i was not aware that they even supported devsleep and have working perfectly fine in both desktops
the link and the comment was most seems to be an assumption if 3.3v is there the SSD will not work (even if it did set the drive to devsleep any activity on the SATA link would permanently wake up the SSD), and the comment on the same article likely due to a faulty SSD) http://www.heise.de/ct/hotline/SSD-mit-Devsleep-Funktion-2238150.html

DEVSLP example
editHere is an example of what happens when an M.2 SSD is attached to a SATA adapter which does not support DEVSLP:

In this particular case a voltage of +3.3V was present at SATA pin P3, which was then interpreted by the SSD as a sleep signal (DEVSLP = high). DEVSLP turns off a MOSFET which is configured as a high side power switch.
