Proposed name change
editThis article is wrongly named; it is called "Discovery and development of thalidomide and its analogs" but the history section begins with "The history of Thalidomide is discussed in great detail at the Wikipedia Page for Thalidomide" followed by three references. That's not the way things are done at all and it just looks ridiculous. First of all, the references are supposed to support what the sentence states, and all the sentence says is that the subject is discussed in the link - which is self-evidently true and doesn't need references. As it is, the references have nothing to do with the previous sentence anyway. Secondly, you don't have an article about something that then tells you half of the information it is supposed to be giving is in another article. I propose that the article is moved to Development of analogs of thalidomide and the 'History' section has a short summary of the history from the Thalidomide article with a link at the top that says
Then the Thalidomide article should have a similar link at the top of its'Thalidomide analogs' section back to this article. There is also the problem that the article talks about thalidomide in the lead with no link to the Thalidomide article. It should actually begin with the name of the article bolded in the first sentence and the word "thalidomide" linked. Richerman (talk) 21:40, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
