I have reworded the article. I do not consider the revision to be advertising. The event is charitable in nature and there has been a request for an article to be created for quite some time. See the "What links here" section and do a google search for noteworthiness. The article is encyclopedic in nature and should be kept but a revision would be useful if the admins consider it necessary.
