Talk:Devon Woodcomb

I sort of think that Chuck is the comedy version of Alias, and I think it's inevitable that somebody in Chuck's normal life finally uncovers his spy life. Devon would make an excellent counterpart to Will Tippin (who discovered Sydney Bristow's secret life in Alias). He'll gain a lot of respect for his brother-in-law, but he'll pay for it deeply by having to keep the secret from Ellie. I suspect Devon is heading towards an impossible situation.

From McPartlin's interview it looks like Awesome WILL be piecing it together, or at least getting close to figuring out what's happening, by the end of the season. Ambaryer (talk) 12:49, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
It would be great to have Awesome find out the truth about Chuck. He'll be out-Awesomed by Chuck (as Chuck is not replaceable as a national security resource), while forced to live the lie Chuck has with Ellie. I want season 3, and it should start with Chuck Verses the Brother-In-Law.... or maybe Chuck Verses Captain Awesome. Jclinard (talk) 09:55, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Captain Awesome" is purely a nickname and one that's become less frequently used as the show has progressed - he's far more commonly referred to by his given name these days. Seems to me, given this, that the article should be renamed to "Devon Woolcomb", with "Captain Awesome" as a redirect rather than as the actual page title. --Tailkinker (talk) 08:31, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Done. It's ridiculous that it stayed here as long as it has. Rau J (talk) 01:47, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

For some reason, I'm seeing the old Captain_Awesome.jpg in the article page, with the new image's dimensions, even after clearing the cache. Clicking through it leads to the new image (a headshot from the season 2 finale). Is this a problem with the article or with my browser? ShaleZero (talk) 05:38, 12 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not just you. I get it, too. Ambaryer (talk) 06:00, 12 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
