World's biggest dome - contradiction?
editIn the intro of this article it asserts that this is the world's largest "unsupported" dome.
What is an unsupported dome? If it wasn't supported it would collapse! It is all very unclear.
Worst still, the article then contradicts itself by asserting there are in fact bigger domes in the world. But this dome at the Devonshire Royal remains the largest in UK.
Come on, just because it's the biggest in Britain makes it a huge leap to say its hold global records, too!!
These claims need to be defined and rewritten. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.165.106.246 (talk) 16:41, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Time to re-title?
editSince the structure described here has not been a hospital for decades, and is now a commercial and tourist attraction and a branch of a university, wouldn't it be more appropriate to title this either Devonshire Dome or something related to the Devonshire University? The text describes the hospital usage, but also the stable and servants quarters origin and its current use. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pzavon (talk • contribs) 10:21, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
- Agree. Concise, accurate and familiar: this building is widely referred to as the Devonshire Dome. Dave.Dunford (talk) 11:27, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
- Agree also. It has been known as the Devonshire Dome since at least 2005, and signage on the building reflects this name. I have made the change Jonxennialuk (talk) 21:44, 15 January 2019 (UTC)Jonxennialuk
