Please make the following two changes to the infobox: 1) adding logo - a standard for the infobox company template 2) area served - United States. The company ships products nationwide and also has an e-store that serves all the states. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 18:16, 1 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

That logo was just uploaded today (2/1/2018). None of the required parameters for fair use have been filled out, and the logo exemplar itself did not come from an easily identified company source. There's little incentive to add something that will just be deleted within 2 weeks. Regards, Spintendo ᔦᔭ 18:31, 1 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Spintendo: thank you for the quick feedback. Good point about the moderation. I agree, let's see how the logo passes moderation. I will be monitoring it. Please change the area served (second proposed edit). -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 19:11, 1 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please add company logo to the infobox. I have consulted with the other editor who made some changes to the metadata and said the image is fine. Having company's logo at the article is a good practice for company articles with the "infobox company" template. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 21:07, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Edits to the "Fourth Generation" part

edit

Please make the following edits to the "Fourth Generation" part

LIST OF PROPOSED CHANGES

(blank space) The bakery won national silver ADDY Award for it tin box design in 2004[1] and National Association for the Specialty Food Trade SOFI award in 2007.[2] In 2016, Specialty Food Association included Michael Di Camillo, grandson of the founders, into its Hall of Fame.[3]

  3. ^ Cite error: The named reference special was invoked but never defined (see the help page).

These edits aim to leave important factual information, making the tone of the article more neutral and less promotional. My rationale for the edits

  • ADDY Award is one of the leading industry awards, it has a separate page and over 60 mentions on Wikipedia at various articles. SOFI award is a recognition from an industry of specialty food specialists, it is an independent award. Both facts are important for the company's history.
  • National Association for the Specialty Food Trade hall of fame nomination was for a lifetime contribution – a sign of recognition from the industry.

This whole part was removed as promotional. I believe that after substantial rewrite the tone of the text is much less promotional and factual. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 18:44, 8 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

  No action.

  1. Lack of WP:SIGCOV. Requires sources from outside both the bakery and the awards presenters.
  2. 60 other mentions on Wikipedia → WP:INN

Advertising tag

edit

Dear Melcous, I wonder how relevant is the advert tag on this article after extensive edits from such prominent editors as you, Theroadislong and Spintendo. The article looks quite factual and non-promotional to me. What do you think? -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 18:48, 23 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
