Structure of Dichlorotris(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium(II) in solution (deuterated chloroform)
editI have synthesised this compound from RuCl3.xH2O and triphenylphosphine, and my solution 31-P NMR (162 MHz) has one peak, indicating that it is the mer-isomer of the D3h structure (with all of the P equatorial). I do not know how to include a picture of it. Foreverfreshlikeroses (talk) 16:11, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
- I recommend not editing to include your first hand information. Wikipedia, for good and for worse, is mainly focused on verifiable information, which usually means the info was published at a high level (reviewed, high quality journal, or even better, a review or a book). The observation of a single peak can indicate many things, BTW.--Smokefoot (talk) 17:50, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
