@Another Believer - How about https://www.yelp.com/biz/dick-s-primal-burger-portland - do I gotta go get the local news to cover that the restaurant closed? You want a picture of me in front of an empty storefront? Shoe on head? What? 75.164.0.206 (talk) 16:54, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

Yes, ideally there'd be a source confirming the restaurant closure. ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:55, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
And until then there's two restaurants? If it never gets covered by the new york times, there will always be two restaurants? This is very goofy that you're digging your heels in this lmao 75.164.0.206 (talk) 16:55, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
I'm not digging my heels. In fact, I've made the text more accurate. The intro says "Dick's Primal Burger is a restaurant in Portland, Oregon." and the Description says, "The restaurant Dick's Primal Burger has operated on Woodstock Boulevard in southeast Portland's Woodstockneighborhood and on North Williams Avenue in the northeast Portland part of the Boise neighborhood." Is this not accurate? ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:59, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
That's now *less* accurate because now if we're talking about any location that *ever* existed, you'd need to add the Cully location https://bridgetownbites.com/2022/03/01/dicks-primal-burger-leaving-cully-heading-to-n-williams-portland-oregon/. How is defining the locations as the number of locations have ever existed more informative than the current locations? 75.164.0.206 (talk) 17:06, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
The History section says, "Previously, a Dick's Primal Burger operated on Cully Boulevard in northeast Portland." ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:24, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
Correct - so it should either read "The restaurant Dick's Primal Burger has operated on Woodstock Boulevard in southeast Portland's Woodstock neighborhood and on North Williams Avenue in the northeast Portland part of the Boise neighborhood and on Cully Boulevard in the northeast Portland part of the Cully neighborhood." And then in the history it should read "Previously, a Dick's Primal Burger operated on Cully Boulevard in northeast Portland and on North Williams Avenue in the northeast Portland part of the Boise neighborhood" - if you insist on accuracy that is the most accurate representation of our current reality we are experiencing! If you insist on not including the williams reference in the history because throngs of newsies failed to descend on a burger place, that's fine, but the fix above, with all its useless length, would at least be consistent. 75.164.0.206 (talk) 17:29, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
I've implemented your preferred wording "The restaurant Dick's Primal Burger has operated on Woodstock Boulevard in southeast Portland's Woodstock neighborhood and on North Williams Avenue in the northeast Portland part of the Boise neighborhood and on Cully Boulevard in the northeast Portland part of the Cully neighborhood." However, I'm not willing to add "Previously, a Dick's Primal Burger operated on Cully Boulevard in northeast Portland and on North Williams Avenue in the northeast Portland part of the Boise neighborhood" to the History section unless there's a source mentioning the closure. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:32, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
Long live the North Williams location of Dicks Primal Burger, a permanent fixture of the neighborhood until the heat death of the universe 75.164.0.206 (talk) 17:33, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
A simple "thanks for your help" would suffice. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:35, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
I can never hope to repay this debt - I will think of you every day as I walk with my dog by the Dicks Primal Burger on North Williams Avenue in the northeast Portland part of the Boise neighborhood 75.164.0.206 (talk) 17:37, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
Bahaha! Great... ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:38, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

Burger Chain Hyperpositions

New idea - I think that, where possible, articles about burger chains need to reference the "hyperposition" of all current, previous, and future locations. No longer will be shackled to the present moment - we will revel in our glut of descriptiveness. For instance - this article could be vastly improved by saying "Dicks Primal Burger used to run restaurants in the Cully and Boise neighborhoods of Portland, OR - it now operates one in the Woodstock neighborhood. In the future, there will be 4,582 locations, enumerated thusly.... " along with the theoretical locations that could potentially exist in the future. 75.164.0.206 (talk) 17:26, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
