Dick Saslaw Speeding
editI know I heard from people who have experience working with Saslaw that he was a notorious speeder and would regularly speed over 100 mph when going to and from Richmond became of an old state law stating state legislatures can't get arrested when traveling for official business as long as they didn't commit a felony but I can't find any sources than from second hand responses from Salsa's colleague or people worked for Virginia's State Assembly and obviously that counts as hearsay so I can't use that as a source so can anyone find a source on that as I find that story funny and think it should be more widely know
I actually heard that story about Saslaw from someone work worked in Gladys Keating's office in the mid 90s who found out from Gladys Keating herself and obviously I can't ask Keating anymore as she passed away in 2014 and I can't ask Saslaw himself as I don't have access to ask him, and I doubt there's a Police report on any of his incidents as he didn't break the law as he was technically following the law but there maybe but when I've looked previously nothing showed up
So if someone can please find a police report, news article, interview, or something mentioning Saslaw's regular speeding it would make my day Rabbipika (talk) 16:29, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
