In the 1903-04 season he was one of the leading batsmen in New Zealand first-class cricket. Which or any of the objective criteria that meets I've no idea, but it leaves me with no doubt as to his Wikipedia notability. Sammyrice (talk) 08:42, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okay, yeah. Your edits do make the article better. I think it can stay now. Although I would be interested in seeing this page being renamed to his real name, even though there is another Arthur Staples cricketer. "Dick Staples" just sounds unprofessional.
