editI recall seeing on one of the hollywood shows that Dick Sargent was actually supposed to be on Bewitched, but was unavailble at the time. When Dick York fell ill and resigned, he was cast as the husband.
I suppose this did not bode well with the fans of the show, as he only lasted 2 seasons until it was cancelled.
Interesting to note how the opening animation never changed, except for his likeness taking the place of York's.
I deeply apologise, but I do not understand a single word you wrote. I do recognise that is English, however I do not recognise any sense in it. Again, I am sorry. I imagine it is mostly because your statement is full of factual errors - from what I did actually understand Lindakilbride (talk) 06:17, 16 September 2018 (UTC)

Fair use of image
editDoes the fiar use rationale apply for the use of the photo as the main image in a article about the actor? I don't think it can and needs to be moved to the part of the article that discusses the piece that the image is from. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.69.137.40 (talk) 02:59, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

"From" Classification
editHe is listed in categories as being "from" both New York and Los Angeles, despite being born and raised in the midwest.
I understand that where someone is "from" is subjective and amorphous, but in the interest of keeping those categories accurate and useful it realistically can't include every actor that's worked in New York or Los Angeles. That would include basically every American actor. --Thejimoleary (talk) 00:12, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
"Rest and Health" (1949) educational film
editI found this early work of York's and thought I'd post it here in case someone wants to add it to the article. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW0Zww2qKdk Phantom in ca (talk) 19:15, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
After Bewitched
editDoes anyone know what he did between leaving Bewitched and those 2 TV show episodes in the 1980s? The article is a bit sparse. Ashmoo (talk) 11:40, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
- Probably not much. He left Bewitched due to crippling back pain. SAG may have helped him to get by. Seki1949 (talk) 03:31, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
