Film: The Fighter
editI removed the synopsis provided which suggests that the film is about his famous fights with Gatti which are not even mentioned in the film.
"The film chronicles the brothers growing up in Lowell, and how Eklund pushed Ward back into the ring after his early retirement leading to the three bouts with Gatti. "
error in dates in statement and reference
editHave never posted anything in Wikipedia before but there seems to be an error in dates. In the "Personal Life" section it makes reference to Dicky Eklund being arrested for assault and attempted murder in 2009. However, the refernce for that is listed as 2008- that's obviously not correct. One of the dates must be wrong. 192.138.57.36 (talk) 02:48, 4 January 2011 (UTC) KML
Is Micky Wards brother mentally retarded?
editIn the movie the fighter, he is portrayed as an imbecile. I was wondering how accurate that depiction is. 69.127.244.66 (talk) 15:45, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
