Deletion Talk
editLet's start a debate here of reasons to delete/keep this article. Just to clarify, I nominated the article for deletion. Ryderofpelham123 (talk) 00:01, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- Regardless of whether the article is ultimately kept or deleted (if it is indeed nominated for deletion via AfD), I think a prod was inappropriate. A prod for notability makes no sense in an article with more than one independent source. LadyofShalott 01:36, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- I have removed the notability tag, the sources provided clearly display the subject's notability.--kelapstick (talk) 01:50, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
The appropriate deletion route now is via WP:AFD. Another possible discussion is Wikipedia:Proposed mergers. I think that the article would pass notability, so a deletion discussion would likely result in a Keep. A more possible discussion is a merger to Dupont Circle, Washington, D.C.. I think that might be an interesting discussion, and I couldn't predict the end result, though suspect it may end up as No merge. SilkTork *YES! 11:12, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
I agree that it would be an interesting merger debate, but I also think it would end up as No Merge. There is no category in the Dupont Circle article under which this article could fall under. This building is not a landmark, and has only limited community significance. Ryderofpelham123 (talk) 23:20, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
