Are you saying that Dimboola is a City? I've noticed you've called quite a few cities, I hope you are sure whether or not they are. With a pop. of 1500 I highly doubt this one is. I will completely delete any cities from my list of towns, so I want to be sure. --Chammy Koala 10:30, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Dubious
edit- The town's secondary college, is the only memorial secondary college in the Southern Hemisphere, hence its name, Dimboola Memorial Secondary College.
Given that Hay, New South Wales (in the Southern Hemisphere last time I checked) has a school called Hay War Memorial High School, this claim rests on a very narrow definition of "secondary college" or "memorial". I propose to remove the claim entirely unless soem one can point out to me why the claim as it stands is correct. -- Mattinbgn\talk 01:03, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
The questioned statement above should state that Dimboola Memorial Secondary College is the only purpose built memorial school in the southern hemisphere. -- Vk3faap (talk) 07:02, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- How is this different to the school in Hay (also in the Southern Hemisphere and purpose-built in 1923)? -- Mattinbgn (talk) 07:52, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
