Play as a dinosaur?

edit

The article says you can play as a dinosaur in a bonus feature, but I don't recall this feature being present. Is this statement true? Jerkov 18:30, 16 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, it's not true. I've played this game tons of times and never even heard anything about that.68.218.244.119 03:53, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's true, multiple websites explain how to unlock it for both PC and Playstation DurinsBane87 08:17, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have heard you can unlock a game mode called 'dino duel' or something along those lines. Supposedly you have to unlock all the dinosaurs, then the new mode becomes unlocked and you can play a game where you pick a dinosaur and fight another. (hope that makes sense) Unfortunately i have completed dino crisis 2 numerous times, doing everything i can to unlock it but i never did. Alcryt 11:56, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Did u go on main menu where u can load and make a new game? Its on extra crisis. You might have to Beat Dino Colleseum?
lol, I think I did this years ago. I will complete it a few times next week and find out if it is possible EchetusXe (talk) 21:32, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, instead of next week its next year. But yeah, Dino Duel is on there.--EchetusXe 15:20, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stop deleting the info about Giganotosaurus's exaggerated size

edit

It's correct and you know it. No reason to delete it. Jerkov 23:21, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Writing

edit

This article is quite unprofessionally written. I suggest removing your opinions on the dinosaurs' controllability and things of that nature. Also the spelling isn't very good. All in all, this article does not do the awesome game justice. Chris kitchens 01:21, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mass Expansion

edit

I've obviously expanded the article with a plot and reception section, now I'm going to admit I'm not the best guy when it comes to spelling and grammer so please correct anything if you see it, cheers. Stabby Joe

Dates for PC version

edit

I tried to find release dates for the PC version and I found at GameSpot that the game was released in America in 2002 but IGN says 2003. I assumed IGN is right on this one, because GameSpot lists the European release date as false. --Mika1h 16:21, 5 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Time Displacement

edit

My memory is that the city was displaced into the far future by the experiments, arriving in a reserve sent from the peiod of the dinosaurs while the past was repaired? Misterandersen (talk) 13:50, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

My memory is that the plot didn't make much sense at all. They were 3 million years in the future without knowing it, humans took the dinosaurs there because if they didn't then mankind would never have existed. Yeh... the dates 2009 and 2055 also fit in there somehow. They had a Noahs Ark plan. EchetusXe (talk) 21:34, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

List of characters

edit

I would like to put out a call to anyone who is knowlegeable on this series to make a List of characters from the Dino Crisis series. I have no reason to belive that any one character is notable enough for his own article (but what do I know? I've never played a Dino Crisis game), but a list of characters could have notability. If you need an example to work off of, her's one that is featured. Thank you, and good luck. Larrythefunkyferret (talk) 06:30, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Recurring Character

edit

Since Paula wasn't present in DC1, how is she a recurring character? Spartan198 (talk) 16:40, 8 January 2009 (UTC) Spartan198Reply

She was in DC2 and this article is about that game, not the last. Stabby Joe (talk) 02:21, 14 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Recurring" implies she was in both games. Regina is a recurring character. Gail and Rick (appearing as playable characters in a mini game) are recurring characters. Paula was first introduced in DC2, so she's therefor not technically a "recurring" character. Spartan198 (talk) 08:14, 12 February 2009 (UTC) Spartan198Reply

She was in the side-story, "Gun Survivor 3: Dino Crisis"-- OsirisV (talk) 15:20, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Assessment as of 2009-05-11

edit

Article is off to a good start, but definitely needs more citations and a development section of some form. Currently it remains Start-class. But as I said: it is off to a good start and just needs more sources dug up for it.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 10:53, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
