Ride Description
edit"Scenes from the movie also appear in the pre-show, to help the guests identify the Iguanadon as the film's protagonist."
Not accurate. There is a short maybe five second shot of an Iguanadon from the film and the narrator simply calls it "an Iguanadon." This is hardly a "scene" from the movie and it is certainly not implied that it is meant to be THE Iguanadon from the movie. On the whole, the article makes the movie and ride seem much more connected than they really are. For instance, the Dino in the ride is NOT intended to be "Aladar," despite the repeated references calling it that.
Yes, where in the world did that description come from? I've never seen a reference that the Igauandon is supposed to be Aladar, certainly not in any of the sources sited at the end. Can we remove it or provide a source? Without one it seems that someone is making up their own version of the back story.70.91.35.27 (talk) 18:45, 1 December 2010 (UTC)Tim
Fair use rationale for Image:Wdw-dino-ride.jpg
editImage:Wdw-dino-ride.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Redirect Error
editWhen one types "dinosaur" into the search field, Wikipedia should not direct a person to the Disney ride. It should either go to the disambiguation page, or ideally to the page that actually describes what a dinosaur was. Please, would someone rectify this? Thank you. Wikipedia is not a free advertisement for Disney. - ZachsMind (talk) 19:43, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
So what if it was free advertising? What's it to you, Commie? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.205.59.37 (talk) 02:56, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
- When I type "dinosaur" or "Dinosaur" and hit either go or search it brings up Dinosaur. --blm07 19:53, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
New Sponsor?
editThe current text implies McDonald's stopped sponsoring the ride in 2008. Is there a new sponsor? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.168.152.140 (talk) 12:28, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
My thoughts about the ride
editThat ride is the most scariest attraction in Disney history I ever been, and I know that would be ever since when I was a young kid. Because it showcasing complete darkness through, which made me nervous thinking that I don't what's going on, because something would appear out from the darkness to scare the pants out me, which it did, with that Carnotaurus which appears many times while I was riding, scaring me like hell. Despite I love dinosaurs, but DINOSAUR the ride is not my favorite dinosaur ride. -- Wiki-Ikiw (talk)

Row/Rider Update
editI experienced this attraction today (12/8/18). Each car seats up to 12 guests, with 3 rows per car and 4 seats in each vehicle. The Enhanced motion vehicle article also indicates this. Simsnet (talk) 01:02, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
