User Hsarrazin suggested, and AnomieBOT proposed, merging Dirck Ten Broeck (mayor) (1686–1751) with Dirck Wesselse Ten Broeck (1638–1717) in September 2017. They are different people so I do not think they should be merged. Dirck Wesselse was actually the grandfather of Dirck and both served as Mayors of Albany in colonial times. The intro heading on the younger Dirck's page was incorrect and listed the birth and death date of the elder Dirck, making it appear as if they were the same person (with different articles). This has since been corrected, therefore, they should stay separate articles.
