Fair use rationale for Image:DFO logo.gif
editImage:DFO logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:02, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Adding retailers section
editA nice addition to this page seems to add a retailers section. This way aside from knowing the history of DFO, visitors also are able to gain a sense for the types of shops at the outletse and if they wish to visit. I will start it off and encourage others to add well known retailers.Ausresearch (talk) 02:22, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Direct Factory Outlets. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20080226223746/http://www.news.com.au:80/mercury/story/0,22884,23271099-921,00.html to http://www.news.com.au/mercury/story/0,22884,23271099-921,00.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Owner
editIt appears to be owned by Vicinity Centres, formerly Colonial First State Global Asset Management. Please look at it.
PS It mostly has a new logo as such.
PPS Two locations are no longer related.
Re-addition of DFO Jindalee to list of centres
editI noticed that DFO Jindalee was removed in a major overhaul of this page, despite also carrying the DFO branding. Is there any reason that anyone would object to it being re-added? For reference, it is one of the few DFO branded centres to not be owned by Vicinity Centres, but rather Chin Yin. Regards, User:TheDragonFire300. - @TheDragonFire300: No problem at all. Please support additions with references though. Betterkeks (talk) 17:17, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for that. I'll get to work on re-adding it later on, hopefully with some good sources. Regards, User:TheDragonFire300. (Contact me | Contributions). 22:50, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
Non-owned stores?
editShould there be a list of non-owned and former locations such as Cairns and Canberra? Also I noticed Cairns is missing. Jordf32123 (talk) 10:11, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
