Foreshadowing
editWhen Peter starts to overload at the end of the episode, he begins to hear electronic communications. This must mean that the ex-Mossad agent, Hana Gitelman, must be near as that is her power. --Bill W. Smith, Jr. (talk/contribs) 11:46, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Does it? I'm not so sure. I thought it sounded a bit like the feedback loop when he was manifesting Parkman's power. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Valaqil (talk • contribs) 14:27, 6 February 2007 (UTC).
HRG
editIs a stupid way of referring to Mr Bennett. 81.156.96.138 22:11, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- There's no need to be rude. You CAN edit it, you know. And it's "Bennet." 24.83.211.180 23:20, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Expansion
editCan the expansion tag and the update tag be removed now, it seems up to date. --ParalysedBeaver 23:12, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- There is still more details that can be added to this article. I'll remove the update one, though. dposse 23:44, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Do you think it is ready now? I added some more and can't really think of anything else to add... unless we wanna put details like: "Claude teases Peter about his hair." :o) 24.83.211.180 01:06, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Not nearly there yet. For example, can anyone clearify this paragraph? "Back at the harbor, Kimiko tries to persuade her brother to change his mind. Hiro realizes that Kimiko is much better suited for the position. He tricks his father and sister by pretending to accept the position. He outlines his first move as Executive Vice President. Kimiko protests, claiming his plan would be a disaster. Hiro asks her to think of a better idea and she does, impressing Mr. Nakamura. Satisfied, Hiro tells his father that he doesn't need him. He and Ando part ways with his father and sister." dposse 01:16, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I wrote that. I'm not sure what needs clarification... Basically, Hiro's sister wanted him to return. She said he was bringing shame to the family and investors would not stick with a company in which the CEO had no control over his son. And then the rest of that stuff happens. Does this need to be added though? I fear that the article might become TOO detailed. 24.83.211.180 01:22, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it becoming too detailed at this time. The wikiproject for Heroes will fix any problems in the future. Right now, you (or someone) need to expand what hiro planned to do with the company that his sister thought was a "disaster". dposse 01:50, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- All righty. Will do. :o) 24.83.211.180 01:54, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

- And listen, any details you can give would be great in this article. If you want a example of a great episode summary, check out Fallout (Heroes). dposse 02:01, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Goofs
editHiro's elder sister's eyeline is incorrect in the two shots (closeup and midshot). --Rchan89 06:12, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Even if thats true, its not very notable. dposse 14:22, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- It's actually quite pronounced but I'm just a fledging art student with a keen eye. =) --Rchan89 13:14, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Sylar using "the voice"
editCan someone who remembers exactly at what point it happened, add that Sylar appears to have used Eden's persuasion power? It was while he was attacking Mrs. Bennet, but I don't recall when or I'd add it myself. Someone already noted it in the killing chart in the Sylar article: "In "Distractions" Sylar's voice briefly echos in Eden's usual fashion."
- I thought i heard it, but it makes no sense because Eden killed herself to prevent that. dposse 13:32, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
TARDIS sound in Heroes?
editI went over the supposed "TARDIS" sound and I personally think it sounds nothing like the TARDIS dematerialization sequence. I am almost certain that the TARDIS, it's image AND sound is copyrighted by the BBC.--Crushtor 12:22, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I read that too. I went back to the episode and checked it. I can hear the resemblence between the two sounds, but they're plenty different enough for it to simply be a coincidence. I think that someone was just thinking too much about Doctor Who because of Eccleston. The trivia item has already been removed. -Platypus Man | Talk 21:30, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Port Washington?
editIs it safe to assume that the location Hiro met his father is Port Washington, New York? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Siyavash (talk • contribs) 16:06, 16 February 2007 (UTC).
Plot
editThe plot needs to be trimmed, per WP:NOT#IINFO. Plot summaries are not permitted according to Wikipedia's official policy against indiscriminate information. --Madchester 18:43, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Mirror Goof
editNo crew members can be seen in the mirror when Jessica is getting ready but the trivia section of the article says otherwise. Can anyone confirm that crew members are visible or not?--58.107.168.72 06:47, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Just watched it a couple of times and I can't see any. Almost all the time Jessica is in the way. There are some vague shapes in the background but no sign of crew members, certainly not a major good. - SimonLyall 11:46, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Trivia edit
editI removed this, as it features in the trivia of the previous article. "* George Takei, who plays Hiro's father, is seen leaving in a limousine with a "NCC 1701" vanity plate. "NCC-1701" is the registration number of the USS Enterprise on the television series Star Trek, on which Takei became famous for playing Hikaru Sulu." Shaybear♥
- At some point, somebody put it back. Yet trivia sections are deprecated, so I put it into the prose of the article. But somebody keeps trying to restore it as a trivia item. RussNelson 04:42, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- This is the reason I just came to this talk page. I noticed the comment posted twice in the same article and found it to be redundant. Only now, it is under a section called Cultural References. Would somebody please remove one of those comments? I'd do it but since I'm not a Wikipedia member it would probably be reversed as some sort of "vandalism".
