editI removed the "and the first gold medal that Greece has won in Olympic competition" reference in the article (Mens' Synchronized Diving 3m Springboard) as it's most certainly not. Spiridon Louis (of Greece) won the marathon at the 1896 Games -- and I'm sure there have been other Greek gold medallists as well. --OntarioQuizzer 12:19, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)

editIf you check this section of the official website, you will see that when you place the arrow over the pictogram, the text says that they are property of the ATHOC (ATHens Organizing Committee). Is there any cause for this to be considered fair use? As a matter of fact, there are quite a few articles on olympic events displaying the respective pictograms, it would appear that all of them will have to be removed. Redux 05:14, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
