The recipe does not match the version on the Russian page, which I think is more likely to be true given its higher importance to the average Russian speaker than the average English speaker. I can't be bothered to verify which is right for real, but someone should.

So let me get this straight.
It isn't "productive" to include the direct witness account of somebody who lived when the "Doctor Sausage" (NOT "Doctor's Sausage") was introduced; but a website not citing its sources, which goes against an official publication of the People's Directorate of the Food Industry of the USSR is a primary source?

I have tracked down the relevant GOST standard. The recipe on the Russian Wikipedia is indeed correct; I've made the changes. Please let me know if I have cited the document incorrectly (the agency that hosts the file with the scan of the standard is not the document's originator and provided as a courtesy, not sure if that's correct for Wikipedia) Sampavel (talk) 01:26, 23 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
