Was this vehicle a marketing flop? if it was, list it on List of commercial failures. I'm assuming that this is a marketing flop because haven't seen too many vehicles like this on the road. Or is this a fair-selling vehicle that had several copies sent to the junkyard relatively early? --SuperDude 22:48, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
- Not really a flop - a good number were sold. It was just never a really practical truck. I'd liken it to a slow-selling model (like the Mazda Navajo) not a flop like the Daihatsu Rocky. --SFoskett 14:28, May 16, 2005 (UTC)
I have an 83 Rampage. I love it! Course I'm doing a fair amount of mods including a 2.5 Turbo and 5 speed but even stock it's pretty cool. Draws attention like crazy. I'm one of four in my city and mine is the only 83. Personally I think the Rampage was a flop. I called my Dodge dealership on time and no one knew what a Rampage was but it's a Charger from the A-pillars forward (including suspension and powertrain) so finding parts isn't a huge hassel if you know where to look. - Mr. Rampage
I have an 82 Rampage and I have noticed how everybody forgets that the thing came with an optional 3-speed automatic transmission. I'm a little surprised how Wikipedia is the only site with any sort of up to date information on the car. many other sites will tell you that it has a Volkswagen motor in it when it actually has a Mitsubishi 2.2. Really the thing is an 80's charger in the front half. The only difference is the bed and the lack of a stock turbo. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.160.28.14 (talk) 23:19, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Dodge Rampage.jpg
editImage:Dodge Rampage.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- That image was mine, which was uploaded without credit many years ago. I've re-uploaded them with proper accreditation and licensing. Here's the full set, some of which I've incorporated in the page:

First FF sports truck?
editI think VW's Sporttruck would predate this model by two years considering they were made as early 1980. I'm going to change the line to "one of the few". It could also be corrected to "one of the first", but it's also one of the last manufactured so I find that a tad silly. Urlor (talk) 21:47, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Bed size
editDoes anyone know the dimensions of the bed? 2600:100E:B06F:5DED:28F5:7C53:EF9:7682 (talk) 20:45, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
