Radio truck
edituse of the ambulance as a radio truck was rare, since its not a good idea to make them targets. Brian in denver (talk) 17:16, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I believe WC54s weren't used very much in that role, but I wouldn't say it was for that reason: putting a red cross on anything is normally enough to stop it being a target. Brutaldeluxe (talk) 17:27, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Article move or rename
editBefore we carry on anymore, I was wondering wether it would be wise/desirable to change the article to include all the Dodge WC series, and not just the WC54, as the WC54 on its own is a bit limited as a subject and including all the other WC trucks would satisfy a lot more people. Or maybe I could start an article on the WC series. Brutaldeluxe (talk) 18:14, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- yah I got a littled hammered for creating to many individual vehicle articles a while back. the WC's should be at least devided into 1/2-ton, and 3/4 ton though Brian in denver (talk) 18:34, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- On second thoughts, I think the WC54 is notable enough on its own, plenty of G.I.s and Allied soldiers owe their lives to it. An article on the WC series would still be a good thing. Brutaldeluxe (talk) 18:56, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
