unlimited supply
editDogecoin supply is not 'unlimited', it's limit increases at a predictable rate each year. https://dogecoin.com/dogepedia/faq/putting-a-cap-on-dogecoin/ 124.149.72.185 (talk) 12:40, 5 July 2024 (UTC)

Change
Dogecoin started with a supply limit of Ð100 billion, which would have been far more coins than the top digital currencies were then allowing. By mid-2015, the 100 billionth Dogecoin had been mined, with an additional Ð5 billion put into circulation every year thereafter. In February 2014, Palmer announced that the limit would be removed in an effort to create a consistent reduction of its inflation rate over time.[1]

Dogecoin started with an intended supply limit of Ð100 billion, which would have been far more coins than the top digital currencies were then allowing. By mid-2015, the 100 billionth Dogecoin had been mined, with an additional Ð5 billion put into circulation every year thereafter. In February 2014, Palmer announced that the limit would not be added in the codebase in an effort to create a consistent inflation rate over time.[2]
The current paragraph implies there was a limit in the core program. There was not. Palmer himself states it was a mulled change that was not considered.207.96.32.81 (talk) 12:43, 27 September 2024 (UTC)

The planned Department of Goverment Efficiency in the USA
