Regarding the previous run of edits removing redlinks - first, "readability" is not a valid reason for removing redlinks. Notability is, if the subject does not meet notability requirements. But simply removing redlinks because they are redlinks removes notation from Wikipedia of the desire for new articles. Redlinks are how we track what is needed to expand Wikipedia, so don't remove them unless there is a reason that meets notability standards (see: WP:NOTE).
