I'm beginning to suspect that Saussurea costus is the same plant as Aucklandia lappa. This page: http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/html/taxon.pl?319257 suggests that that is the case. E-Fong sells a product called "Mu Xiang" (product code M0210) which used to say Aucklandia Lappa on the bottle and now says Saussurea costus.

If it's really the same, it's silly to have two articles. I'm not going to Be Bold and merge them, but if someone else can verify that indeed they're the same and wants to jump in and do it that would be good.
