Dear Editor:
I am writing in my capacity as a public and community relations officer for Massey Energy (Massey). Massey and our public relations firm are interested in working with you to develop a page for Don Blankenship that provides more descriptive and pertinent about his personal and professional biography.
We believe that our edits will improve the usability of the page for visitors. We will only add information to Wikipedia that is accompanied by detailed references, per the site’s instructions and are most committed to updating the Massey page in a manner that is transparent and balanced.

Don Blankenship (born 1952 in Stopover, Kentucky) is the current Chairman and CEO of Massey Energy Co., the fourth largest coal company in the United States. He has served in these roles since November 30, 2000.

Don Blankenship is a graduate of Matewan High School and earned a degree in accounting from Marshall University in 1972.

Blankenship joined a Massey subsidiary, Rawl Sales & Processing Co., in 1982. Since then he has served the company in a number of capacities.

- Wikipedia is not a soapbox for propaganda and advertising. Informational edits (education, company positions, etc.) are fine but refrain from adding content which does not follow a neutral point of view or is from a questionable source. Edits which follow Wikipedia policies can be added immediately; edits which do not meet Wikipedia's policies should not be added and will be corrected or deleted. --Jatkins (talk - contribs) 17:39, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Why is there no mention of the Upper Big Branch Mine disaster?
Blankenship is a key figure in that event, so the fact that it's completely omitted from this article makes no sense. 75.76.213.106 (talk) 23:44, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
