editI notice that a references tag was added to the page, (2 minutes after I'd started writing), and despite a 'work in progress' label. I've added refernces and sources now, so if there's no objection I'll remove the tags.
There's also a notability tag; if it'd help I can add an external link section to Amazon,

U-boats destroyed
editI've corrected the correction of the number of kills; there are six on the page, not five. I've also made it clear he sank U-99 as well, which seems to have been overlooked. Some sources give him credit for the sinking of U-100 as well, but that's less clear cut, though U-100 was definitely sunk by Vanoc. Xyl 54 (talk) 23:47, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
