Merge to existing article

edit

The content of this page will be merged into Donkeshwar once a reliable source is found. Once this is done, add the {{merged from}} template to the top section of Talk:Donkeshwar. If this content is merged, then this page must be kept for attribution reasons as long as Donkeshwar exists. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:10, 26 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry if I'm being a layman here, but I've some questions. I'm not sure, why this afc submission was decided to move to main space, it should better be speedy deleted there, with custom rationale or CSD#A10/G13. I earlier visited this afc submission, and did not find any sourced substantial contents to merge from afc submission to the existing article. It is moved here only to merge history of the both pages? But, really why? Anupmehra -Let's talk! 19:16, 26 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
I just read your comment on Talk:Donkeshwar page. I'm not sure, if there was even a flood in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh in 1975. There's no search results for "1975 flood India Andhra Pradesh" on Google news and relevant contents on Google books for the same keyword.
It either did not happen or happened on a smaller scale, like only one or two villages were affected. It is claimed that, the village was evacuated, so there was no loss of lives. It is most likely to have no sources available for this event, because it was either published that time in corner of some national news paper or in local news papers unavailable else where than the locality it get published from. Local news papers are not available online, if few are, they have not archive of their earliest publications. As said, compensations were provided, it must have been documented in government records. Well, they are best supposed to eaten away by worms until now. It is only recently, that India has implemented "e-governance". However, it is okay, if someone some ways manage to find to some source to support the contents to expand the present article. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 19:50, 26 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
