• Lead singer Ingo and guitar player Guido are brothers.
• Guido's favorite band is Rancid.
• All members in the band, except guitarist Alex, are vegetarian.
• Guitar player Guido tried to make out with Avril Lavigne during a summer festival.
• The band has produced most of their music with Fabio Trentini, bass player of German band H-Blockx.
• "Up Song", featured on the album "Amplify The Good Times", features guest vocals by the American pop punk rock band Midtown.
• Special guests on the album "Got The Noise": Jason Perry of the UK band A sings on "Alright Now" and the UK rock band 3 Colours Red sing and play on "Knowledge".
• The album "Got The Noise" landed on 3rd place of the international charts in Japan. The Donots are quite huge in Japan.
• Singer Ingo has founded his very own record label in Japan called Solitary Man Records, which released bands such as Dover, Beatsteaks, boysetsfire, The Movement, Muff Potter, The Lucky Nine.
• The song "We Got The Noise" was the theme song on the popular video game "MVP Baseball 2005".

• Lead singer Ingo has produced the last Waterdown album entitled "All Riot" and released through Victory Records on 01.24.2006.
• The band has its very own podcast on iTunes, where they talk about Ramones, drunk driving, Johnny Cash and more.
• Two songs by the Donots ("Saccharine Smile" and "Get Going") are featured in Konami's music simulation games GuitarFreaks and DrumMania.
• "The Story So Far - Ibbtown Chronicles" is a double CD, one with the hit singles, one with the b-sides.
• The band has been featured on several video game soundtracks, including Need for Speed Underground: Rivals for the PlayStation Portable, Burnout 3: Takedown and MVP Baseball 2005.
• The band has also featured on the movie "Swimming-Pool". It's the official song of the movie.
• The album Coma Chameleon was produced by Kurt Ebelhäuser(Blackmail (band)). Walter Schreifels is featured on the end of the song "Somewhere Someday".

While this is interesting, we can't use it unless you provide a source.
