Doorman *IS* African-American. In his first appearance, he lifts up the mouth of his mask, and what skin we see is that of an African-American. In GLX-Mas, he is clearly seen for several pages as black, as is his father. Thanos6 08:46, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, then feel free to change it again. Kusonaga 09:54, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
- i think they were being slighly subtle in making him the 'black superhero.' there are several possible hints throughout GLA that that was their possibly intention. i mean, a black man in snow is definately a stereotype they were trying to evoke with the whole skis and snow and whatnot. i'm not sure what the message is, but i'm almost positive it's there.
- On a related note, since Doorman did lift up the mouth of his mask in his first appearance, and thusly proved that his dark appearance was originally only a costume, I'm removing the spurious claim that his powers gave him "a seemingly permanent completely black appearance, besides his stark white eyes". His all-black form seems to be a permanent alteration since becoming the new Deathurge, but this is a recent change, and I'm altering the Powers and abilities section accordingly. -- Pennyforth 16:34, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

editCould anyone tell me why the Doorman picture doesn't seem to be working? Kusonaga 11:22, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Doorman.PNG
editImage:Doorman.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Teleportation
editA comment is made under the powers section that he is a "class 10 teleporter, which means he can teleport someone anywhere, so long as it is in the next room". Exactly what is meant by that? Could anyone clarify?
Clarification: He can teleport to the next room.
