The article currently lists the release date as October 18, 1989 and lists the B-side as "Packet Man". That release was Tommy Boy 955. The cited link does NOT say October 18, 1989 - in fact it doesn't even say 1989; it lists the release date as 1990. Actually, the release date has a second cite, which points to Tommy Boy 932, an earlier release. However that link doesn't say October either, just 1989. Tommy Boy 932 included 4 versions of "Doowutchyalike" and 2 versions of "Hip Hop Doll". I don't know what the release date was, but that single made the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart in the August 12 issue, per Joel Whitburn's book Top R&B / Hip-Hop Singles 1942-2004. I'd like to change the whole release info - make date "August 1989", change b-side to "Hip Hop Doll" and citation, but it looks a little too complicated for me.
