The combat radius of 4700 km is improbably long and is most likely an error. It could be the ferry range.
- Looks like a km/miles mixup 4700 km/2920 miles should be 2900 km/1802 miles - article corrected. MilborneOne 21:45, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Operation history
editThe black bordered orange triangle was pre-May-1940 Dutch insignia, attempting to make it perfectly obvious that this was an airplane beloning to a neutral nation, not involved in the Axis-Allied conflict. The tri-colour roundel was introduced into the Dutch Roayal Airforce after May 1945. Perhaps the Dutch East Indies Armed forces have used the roundel post-1940. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.169.231.1 (talk) 16:12, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

French production
editI corrected the SNCA typo to SNCAN. Still the text isn't right, as SNCAN was only created well after the war. Who can further improve? Jan olieslagers (talk) 06:50, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll check some print sources later today to see what I cn find, but I can't access them at the moment. - BilCat (talk) 07:39, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
- Per the Fench wiki article on SNCAN at fr:Société nationale de constructions aéronautiques du Nord, SNCAN was formed in 1936. While I can't read French, the years are the same in both languages ;) - BilCat (talk) 08:04, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

- The French article says SNCAN was created following a law dated August 1936, thus 1937 seems quite possible as the date of creation of the company. Either 1936 or 1937, it still makes it entirely possible for SNCAN to have built Do-24's during the war and that was my point. Actually, I was confusing with the subsequent merger of SNCAN into Nord Aviation, which occurred 1949 or so. Jan olieslagers (talk) 09:14, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

- I've checked a few print sources, and it was SNCAN that produced the Do 24. One souce called it "SNACA du Nord", which may hae been why the "N" was dropped in the article, or it could hae been a simple typo. - BilCat (talk) 10:03, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Photo caption Wrong
editthe insignias on the photo are definitely NOT Dutch. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.201.140.130 (talk) 20:18, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- They look Dutch to me, and the serial number matches a Dutch example. MilborneOne (talk) 20:34, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- Definitely in Dutch markings - perhaps the confusion is over the later Dutch East Indies markings which were an orange triangle outlined in black or the Dutch flag?NiD.29 (talk) 23:32, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
