Death
editJust curious as to why it says smoking was the cause (led to) of her lung cancer and then goes as far as to say death. I am all for informing the public about the risks with such high positive correlations with the incidence of certain tumors of the lung in those with lifelong activities of smoking, but do not personally see the evidence that smoking caused her lung cancer and death. I would prefer a more respectful closing for someone who contributed so much to medicine, maybe "Dorothy Hansine Anderson was diagnosed with lung cancer and subsequently died at 62 years of age in 1963."
