What is the correct name?
editI'm not disputing the name of the historic town. But this page refers to the landform for which the town was named, and it seems the correct name for that is "Double Mountains" (plural). That's how it's listed in the US Bureau of Geographic Names GNIS database.Niobrara (talk) 14:36, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- Niobrara is correct, according to the U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System, the official name is Double Mountains. I have added an external link on the article page. Seems strange that the official name of the Double Mountain Fork Brazos River contains the singular form. Leaflet (talk) 01:12, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
