You are right that the rhythm tracks to Rapper's Delight (the famous bass line in particular) were based on the song Good Times by Chic (not sampled though if that's what you mean). Not sure if it's necessary to mention it here. After all, the article is about DW and he did not play on the song. The only reason it's mentioned is to avoid people thinking that DW having played bass for Sugar Hill Gang he must have also played bass on their greatest hit. --Vunzmstr (talk) 10:44, 29 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
