We no longer have an "expand" tag, but it is obvious that this article needs to have content and references greatly expanded. Knowing the editor, I'm confident that such an expansion will be carried out, and carried out well. -- DGG ( talk ) 05:05, 26 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Cunard: I didn't watch the AFD, so was quite shocked to discover the article was kept. IMO, the article should still be deleted, but given that we're keeping it... do you have any intention of investigating those sources you linked in the AFD and seeing if there's actually anything to say? I remain highly skeptical that these journal articles make this topic worthy of an encyclopedia article, but I'm willing to be proved wrong. (Of course, Wikipedia is a volunteer project, but if you don't plan on improving the article, I'd be inclined to boldly merge it myself given that in its current form, there is very very little content...) The sources and discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Downsizing (property) demonstrated that downsizing is a notable topic that should have a standalone article. My comment at the AfD proves that there is a lot that can be written about downsizing. I do not have the time right now to expand this article as I have other AfD and article creation priorities. I oppose a merge. Cunard (talk) 01:18, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
