Cleanup
editThis article was one run-on paragraph, I've sectioned it out and cleaned it up for style, but it needs some technical help also. It has a ton of external links but not one cite. Some of what's in the section I labeled "Personal Life" may well be true but definitely needs to be documented. Any help would be appreciated! Enigmatic2k3 (talk) 15:44, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Hints
editRegarding the match with Rocca and Dick the Bruiser:
All of the wrestlers during the match were fined unknown amounts of money
Sounds like insufficient research. If the fines were levied by a state athletic commission, I would think it to be a matter of public record. There should have been at least one, perhaps several, newspapers who reported on the incident. I'm not in New York, so I'm not the one to ask.
Also, Vince McMahon has spoken before of his youthful fascination of and personal association with Graham in his teenage years, presumably in the years after getting to meet his father for the first time.RadioKAOS (talk) 19:20, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
Verification
editI have a copy of the Arizona Republic article from Jerry Graham's arrest following the morgue incident, but cannot upload it. It has a picture of Jerry in handcuffs, surrounded by eight police officers. Any help would be appreciated. SMaikoski (talk) 13:35, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- While it is helpful to the interests of WP:V to have source material online, there's no absolute requirement that something be online before it can be cited in an article. I don't think anyone would doubt the reliability of the Arizona Republic as a source. Also, it's uncertain whether uploading material published by them runs afoul of their copyright. I would suggest reading the documentation for {{cite news}} and incorporating the material into the article in that fashion first, then worry about how to make it accessible to the world at large. Just having bibliographic information available is an important first step in allowing more capable users the ability to find it on their own. Dr. Jerry's birthyear
editI notice that Graham had different birth years. One is 1921 and the is 1931. Find A Grave says 1931. Kingzwest (talk)
- The birth year must have been updated since this was written, as Findagrave now says 1928, see Findagrave:Jerry Graham. At least one source says he falsified his age to join the army. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 11:37, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
Vince McMahon regarded him as his all-time favorite wrestler in the new Netflix documentary ‘Mr. McMahon’.
